Martin Elepans

(Hot Cafe and Gypsy Fingers) is a guitar tour de force with an immense history in festivals both in Australia and overseas. Originally from New Zealand , Martin has been based in Melbourne for the last decade, focusing on performing an original mix of gypsy jazz, flamenco inspired originals and east European melodies.

 

Mathew Arnold Mathew has been playing violin and touring both in Australia and around the world for many years, developing his talents in a diverse range of musical genres, such as swing and Latin jazz, Celtic, continental, classical Indian and eastern European styles.

 

Chris Schurmann

Chris has been playing and performing bass for over eight years.  He has studied at both The college of the arts and Monash universities,  completing both a degree and diploma in music performance. Chris is accomplished in a number of styles, but considers Manoush (French) style jazz to among his favourites. Chris has an extensive repertoire of tunes, and loves playing with (The Kerr Solution?) for it’s playful and energetic style. Chris has played with a large number of Melbourne musicians such as Kate Ceberano, Steve Sedergreen, Harry Angus, Julie O’hara, and Jamie Ohlers to name a few.

 

Nara Demasson Nara is a unique and talented guitarist from a diverse musical back ground .From a touring circus performer to Melbourne jazz musician Nara is always discovering a new and interesting approach to his music. Over the last decade Nara has played with many Melbourne bands including gypsy jazz band - blue drag , Russian crime band - Vulgargrad , and His own outfit as ukulele player - The Wikimen, a hawaiian swing trio.

 

 

Also known as The Great Chefs of Europe. The group is a highly professional and sophisticated gypsy jazz ensemble offering a stylish continental-infused repertoire to soothe or swing your venue.

A group who are easy on the eye, and even more pleasing to the ear, their sumptuous repertoire features an original mix of gypsy jazz, flamenco inspired originals and east European melodies. Parisienne Swing are able to tone it down or spice it up, with a repertoire full of classic gems and contemporary Latin grooves.
